Hen party questions for quizzes, votes and big reveals

A useful question list starts with the game you are playing. Here are prompts for bride trivia, crowd votes and partner reveals — organised so they create a proper night, not one endless quiz.

Hen party drinks and question cards on a table

‘Hen party questions’ usually means three completely different things: facts about the bride, predictions about the group, or answers collected from her partner. Separate those formats before you write anything and the game becomes easier to host, faster to play and much more fun to reveal.

Personal questions should always have a source. Ask the bride, organiser, partner or a named friend for the real answer. PartyVeil can invent believable multiple-choice distractors, but it never invents personal facts or pretends something happened when it did not.

Questions about the bride

Turn these into multiple-choice questions by adding three plausible wrong answers. Start easy, then save the close calls for the final.

  • What is her go-to drink?
  • Where would she book a surprise weekend tomorrow?
  • What purchase can she never resist?
  • Which song gets her onto the dance floor?
  • What food will she never order?
  • What does her perfect Sunday look like?
  • Which phrase does she say all the time?
  • What would she buy first with an unexpected £5,000?

Most Likely To questions

Let every guest vote privately, then reveal the percentages on the main screen. Good prompts celebrate recognisable chaos without targeting a real insecurity.

  • Who is most likely to convince everyone to stay out until 5 AM?
  • Who will cry first during the wedding?
  • Who is most likely to lose the room key?
  • Who could talk their way into a VIP area?
  • Who would survive longest on a desert island?
  • Who will still look immaculate at breakfast?

Questions for the partner

Choose prompts that produce a short story or a very specific detail. Collect the answers before the party, let the room predict first, then reveal the video or text.

  • What was your first impression of her?
  • What is her funniest harmless habit?
  • What does she always steal from your plate?
  • Which trip would she book tomorrow?
  • What always makes her laugh?
  • What is she secretly brilliant at?

The five-second safety edit

Before using any prompt, ask whether the bride would still enjoy it if the answer surprised her. Remove body comments, fertility, private finances, addiction, relationship threats and anything built around a real conflict. Sweet, Funny, Cheeky and Wild can change the tone; none of them should change that boundary.

Frequently asked questions

How many questions should a hen party quiz have?

Eight to ten per round is plenty. Two or three shorter rounds create better pace than one very long quiz.

Should we include rude questions?

Only when the organiser knows the group wants them. Even then, avoid humiliation and make every cheeky question easy to edit or skip.

How do I make questions genuinely personal?

Collect 10–15 facts and stories first, then build questions from those sources. Use fictional distractors, never fictional personal history.

Can guests answer on their phones?

Yes. In PartyVeil, guests scan a QR code and answer or vote in their browser while the host controls the main screen.
