Cookies and local storage

Last updated: 29 August 2026

PartyVeil uses a small amount of browser storage to keep accounts signed in, preserve an unfinished creation step and reconnect players to the correct live game. This page explains those technologies.

Essential storage

  • Supabase authentication storage keeps an organizer signed in and protects account features.
  • Session storage temporarily preserves the first creation step while an organizer signs in.
  • Player session storage remembers a guest's anonymous game identifier for that browser tab.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregated page performance and product usage. We do not use private party questions, stories or videos for advertising analytics.

Managing storage

You can clear PartyVeil site data in your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, remove an unfinished local draft or stop a guest from reconnecting as the same player. Essential storage cannot be disabled while using features that depend on it.

Future changes

If we add non-essential advertising or behavioural tracking technologies, we will update this page and introduce consent controls where required before enabling them.
