Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Organizer account details, including email address and authentication information handled by Supabase Auth.
• Party details such as names, dates, country, selected vibe, facts, stories and personalized questions.
• Partner responses, optional text answers, uploaded videos and the email address used to send an invitation.
• Guest nicknames, game answers, scores and technical session identifiers used to run the live show.
• Basic device, request and usage information needed for security, diagnostics and aggregated analytics.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and save the organizer's requested PartyVeil, deliver partner invitations, operate the live game, provide support, protect the service and improve product reliability. We do not sell personal information or use private party content for advertising.

• Contract and steps requested before a purchase: creating, saving and delivering the show.
• Legitimate interests: keeping PartyVeil secure, preventing abuse and understanding aggregated product performance.
• Consent where appropriate, particularly when a person chooses to record and upload video.
• Legal obligations, including accounting and responding to valid legal requests.

Whose information organizers add

Organizers may add information about the bride, partner and friends. The organizer is responsible for using the service respectfully and for having an appropriate basis to share that information. Sensitive, degrading or unlawful material must not be uploaded. The partner receives this privacy notice when opening an invitation.

Service providers and international transfers

We use carefully selected providers to operate PartyVeil, including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication, database and storage, Resend for transactional email, Vercel Analytics for aggregated usage measurement, and Stripe when payments are enabled. These providers process information under their own security and contractual safeguards and may process it outside your country.

How long we keep information

Party data is currently kept until the organizer deletes the party or asks us to delete it, except where a longer period is required for security, disputes, accounting or legal obligations. Deleting a party starts removal of its saved questions, game state, partner responses and associated media from the active service. Backups and delayed storage cleanup may take a limited additional period to expire.

Security

We use access controls, private organizer accounts, scoped invitation links and database row-level security. No online service can promise absolute security, so please avoid adding information that is not needed for the game.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to use of your information, request portability, or withdraw consent. Contact hello@partyveil.com from the relevant email address. UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

PartyVeil is intended for adult organizers. Do not add a child's personal information or media unless you have the authority and a lawful reason to do so.

Changes

We may update this notice when the product or our providers change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
